IRONCLAD is a fast- paced side -scrolling shooter released in 1996. You fly your own military plane with a Robot attached to it, taking part in battles against the army of the Republic of Iron Mask that attacked the kingdom of Chop. In the fight against opponents, you can use three types of weapons, each of which can be improved by collecting a certain number of artifacts, a combat Robot, three types of melee weapons, as well as bombs that can protect you from enemy bullets. However, your shooting technique will change depending on whether the Robot is attached to the plane.
